This guide explains how to assemble our bed frames safely and correctly. Every product comes with its own fittings, but the steps below apply to most standard frames, ottoman bases and headboards. If your product includes additional parts, they will be shown clearly in the package.

Open all boxes carefully and place the parts on a clean surface.
Check that all components are included.
Remove packaging from the room as you go to avoid trip hazards.
Do not use power tools, as they may damage fittings.
Assemble the bed in the room where it will be used.
A soft cloth
A screwdriver
A small hammer or rubber mallet
A pair of scissors to open packaging
Most fittings are provided with the bed.
Place the headboard upright against the wall.
Align the headboard bolts with the slots on the bed base.
Tighten gently until secure. Do not overtighten.
If your headboard comes with struts, fix the struts to the back first, then attach them to the base.
Lay the side rails on the floor.
Insert the metal brackets into the corresponding slots on the headboard and footboard.
Push firmly until you hear a click or feel the bracket lock into place.
Check that all four corners are aligned and stable.
Most frames include a centre beam for additional support.
Place the beam in the middle of the frame.
Secure it using the pre-drilled holes or metal connectors.
Attach the centre legs and adjust them so they rest evenly on the floor.
Two types of slats may be included
solid slats
sprung slats
For solid slats
Lay each slat across the frame
Secure with screws or brackets provided
Ensure even spacing for proper support
For sprung slats
Insert each slat into the plastic holders
Press gently until they lock in place
Check that all holders are secure
Slats must be fitted correctly for the mattress to perform as intended.
If you are assembling an ottoman bed, follow the steps above and then continue with the lifting mechanism.
Attach the side lifting arms to the frame using the bolts provided.
Secure the mechanism at both ends.
Fit the base boards inside the frame.
Place the mattress platform on top of the lifting arms.
Test the mechanism without the mattress to ensure smooth movement.
Once satisfied, lower the platform and place the mattress on top.
Always lift with steady, controlled movement.
Ensure all screws and fittings are tightened but not overtightened.
Check that the frame stands level on the floor.
Confirm the slats sit firmly and evenly across the frame.
Place your mattress on the bed and ensure there is no movement or noise.
Do not jump on the bed.
Do not overload ottoman storage compartments.
Do not force the lifting mechanism.
Keep small parts away from children and pets.
Avoid dragging the bed across the floor.
Lift carefully when moving furniture.
